Can I use my computer as a video display for composite video camera mirror?
I have a trailer with a rear view camera which produces a composite video signal to an LCD. The screen is broken. Can I make my Windows XP function as a team with an LCD monitor to view the signal camera? Obviously, I need a cable to convert RCA composite video in some other type of connector for computer (USB, VGA port, FireWire?) And some hardware and / or software? I would use the computer for so old (GPS screen and monitor motor), and add this new ability to see the back of the camera mirror. Is this an easy or difficult? Any help appreciated ....
Your best thing is to get a video capture card USB. Sure that is the kind that lets you view live video, instead of record (as example, only a DVD / VCR tape).
